Beyond Work

Sport has always been an important part of my life. I have tried football, tennis and jiu-jitsu, but floorball is the sport I have stayed with the longest. Outside work, I enjoy staying active, taking time to unwind and exploring something new.

Floorball

I have played floorball since my first year at school, around the age of seven. Over the years, it has given me competitive experience and an appreciation of teamwork and persistence. A particular highlight was representing Latvia at the 2021 U19 World Floorball Championships in Brno, Czechia.

Padel

More recently, I have taken up padel. It brings something fresh to my sporting routine: a fast-paced game, a new challenge and a chance to spend time with others.

Gaming

I also enjoy PC gaming in my spare time. It is a way to unwind, stay in touch with friends and enjoy a little competition away from the sports court.

Travel

When travelling, I try to discover new places and cultures, get a feel for everyday life and try something unfamiliar. I value the chance to step outside my routine and return with a fresh perspective.

Cooking

I really enjoy cooking and trying new recipes. Asian cuisine is a particular favourite: I love its variety of flavours and the chance to experiment with different ingredients. Cooking is also a welcome way to unwind after work.
